Anti-rape protesters block Shahbagh intersection for two hours

Anti-rape protesters today blocked Shahbagh intersection in Dhaka for two hours demanding implementation of their nine-point demand and protesting the attack on Dhaka to Noakhali anti-rape long-march on October 17.

The protesters gathered in front of the national museum around 11:30 am and brought out a procession from there while chanting slogans, reports our staff photographer from the spot.

They also torched several tyres on the roads leading to the intersection.
