The event being co-organised by Monthly Computer Jagat, Ministry of Science and ICT, ISP Association of Bangladesh and Katalyst, pointed out the problems and prospects of Internet use in the Bangladeshi perspective.
President of American Chamber of Commerce, Bangladesh, Aftab-ul Islam, stressed on the importance of English, which is essential for the application and exploration of the cyber world. The president was speaking at the seminar as chief guest.
SM Iqbal, President of Bangladesh Computer Samity and Manish Pandey, divisional manager of Katalyst were present as special guests, while Golap Monir, editor-in-charge, Monthly Computer Jagat presided over the event.
Iqbal pointed out that the current problems in the ICT industry can be easily eliminated with the combined effort of all concerned departments and sections.
Monir urged the business community to arm themselves with the skills and resources that can be accessible through the Internet. The seminar was conducted by Muhammad Abdul Wahed Tomal, technical editor, Monthly Computer Jagat, conducted the seminar.
