Toshiba and IOM rolls out a new breed of multifunctional devices

TOSHIBA Singapore and their local representative International Office Machines Limited (IOM) unveiled their newest series of E-Studio product line for the local market recently at Hotel Sheraton Ballroom. The event titled "New Dimension in Copier Technology" focused on the new digital copier technology of Toshiba along with showcasing of the series and Toshiba notebook computers.

Science and ICT Minister Moyeen Khan chaired the event along with Hidetoshi Ukita, minister - Embassy of Japan, Yuichi Nozawa, general manager Electronic Imaging, Toshiba.

Khan lauded the efforts of IOM and Toshiba for introducing their innovative products to Bangladesh and the success achieved in terms of product quality and customer satisfaction by both the companies.

Doris Tan Cheng Cheng, product marketing specialist of Toshiba gave a brief product presentation on the latest copier technology of Toshiba and underlined Toshiba's intention to continue its effort to bring digital revelations in the office automation sector.

The E-Studio 230/280, digital multifunctional devices built on Toshiba's unified e-Bridge architecture, which was officially launched in the event, is the latest digital multifunctional system from Toshiba being distributed by IOM in Bangladesh. Some of the key features of E-Studio 230/280 are high print resolution, multiple copying up to 999 copies, 40GB hard disk, 160MB memory and reproduction ratio of 25% - 400%.

Toshiba's all-in-one e-Bridge technology enables monochrome copy, print, scan, fax and other networking capabilities on a single hardware platform, enhancing the communication capabilities of both paper and electronic documents and enabling easy network connections.

A large touch screen control panel and significantly more advanced features for the workgroup category of multi-functional peripherals (MFP) has termed it to be one of the high-end technology copier machines with cost efficiency and long term productivity as its key characteristics.

The event was also attended by key customers of IOM in Bangladesh from leading multinational and local corporate companies. A cultural show followed the launch.
