Second Intel channel conference held

Members of the Genuine Intel Dealer (GID) program from Dhaka, Chittagong and other parts of the country attended the program, which consisted of both sales and technical topics.

Rajesh Gupta, general manager, Technical Sales and Support Intel Technology India (Pvt.) Ltd, conducted the ICC-2 along with Zia Manzur, sales manager, Bangladesh, Intel, who briefed the GIDs on new products and technologies on Desktop and Servers, channel activities, product roadmaps and so on. Such training aids the GIDs in providing the best solution and support to their customers, in the near future.

Matrix Media Master
On the same day, Com Valley Ltd., Binary Logic, and Computer Village unveiled the latest model of their Matrix PC line, the Matrix Media Master 1360.

Powered by the Intel Pentium 4 Processor with Hyper Threading (HT) Technology running at 3.60 GHz, the Matrix Media Master 1360 is a high performance PC. The HT technology of the processor makes it easier to do multiple tasks at the same time and improves productivity.

Based on the Intel 915G Express chipset, the Matrix Media Master 1360 manages the system bandwidth through PCI Express Architecture. Other features include, Intel High Definition Audio, 6-channel surround sound with a powerful 4.1 speaker system, which also comes with the package. The system comes with onboard Intel GMA 900 video or optional Nvidia FX5750 Graphics card. A TV Tuner with Personal Video Recorder is free with this system, so that users can capture and edit video. It also includes a 120GB Hard Disk Drive, 17-inch monitor and DVD-ROM and can also be customised.

The system has been termed 'ideal' for power hungry tasks like audio-video editing, graphic design and extreme gaming. The PCs are available in Dhaka at Com Valley Ltd. and Binary Logic, and in Computer Village in Chittagong. All Matrix PCs are backed up by 3-year warranty on parts and labor, the companies also has service centers in multiple locations for easy servicing.
