Two get 5-year RI

The convicts are Siddique Ahmed and Amir Hossain. According to the prosecution story, the convicts snatched Tk 30, 000 at gunpoint from the hotel of one Md Iftekhar at Muradpur intersection in the city on the night of August 26. They also hurled cocktails to create panic while the workers of the hotel chased them. Soon after the incident, police in a drive arrested Siddique Ahmed and recovered one rifle with four rounds of bullet from his possession.

Later police framed charges before the court against them.
