Norwegian help sought for integrated dev of CHT
Foreign Minister M Morshed Khan has sought cooperation of Norway for the integrated development of the Chittagong Hill Tracts and disaster management in the country.
He made the request when the new Norwegian Ambassador Ms Aud Lise Norheim paid a courtesy call on him at his office yesterday.
Welcoming the new Norwegian envoy, the Foreign Minister assured her of all cooperation in discharging her responsibilities in Bangladesh.
Norway is a good friend and an important development partner of Bangladesh, said the Foreign Minister.
The Norwegian ambassador hoped that bilateral relation that exists between the two countries would be further strengthened in the days to come.
