1 killed, 2 hurt as branch of roadside tree breaks down

Amirul Islam, 32, of Delkkdin under sadar upazila, Rabiul Islam, 31, and Wadud, 34, were standing to hear the speech of Prime Minister Khaleda Zia at Jhenidah Government Boys High School when the branch gave way.

Amirul died on the spot. The injured were rushed to Jhenidah General Hospital in critical conditions.
