Prize giving ceremony held

Chairman and Managing Director of Adcom Ltd Geeti Ara Safia Chowdhury handed over the prizes as chief guest.

Model Sadia Islam Mou, film star Diti, singer Kanak Chapa, TV actress Sarmili Ahmed, recipe-writer Sitara Ferdous and Vice-Principal of Home Economics College Shahin Ahmed were the judges.

In Hot and Spicy Group, Lutfunnahar of 10/4 Baily Square, Dhaka became champion, Rita Shaha of 9 Kabi Jasim Uddin Road, Dhaka runners-up while third position went to Dipti Biswas of Natore.

In Sweet Group, Rousan Ara of 73, East Rajabazar, Dhaka became first, Rina Chakraborty of 47/1, R K Mission Road, Dhaka second and third position went to Meharunnesa of Thana Para, Kushtia,

In Sour Group, Farzana Ahmed Shetu of Professor Para, Rajshahi became champion, Nilufa Akhter of Thakur Para, Comilla runners-up while the third position went to Nurunnahar of 5, Sheikh Saheb Bazar, Dhaka.

In other group, Jui Ahmed of Gaibandha became champion, Vikarunnesa of 144, Shanti Nagar, Dhaka runners-up and the third position went to Jannatul Ferdous Shetu Moni of New DOHS, Mahakhali, Dhaka.

The first prize of the competition was deep fridge while other prizes included micro woven, pressure cooker, toaster and soup-set. 44 prizes were given to the winners.
