Armed Forces Medical Unit leaves for Liberia
A six-member advance team of the Bangladesh Armed Forces Medical Unit (LEVEL-2 hospital) along with necessary medical equipment left here for Liberia yesterday to join in the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL).
Led by Major Moinul Islam Chowdhury the team will assist the Bangladesh Army brigade in UNMIL, said an ISPR press release.
The rest of the medical unit is expected to leave the country for Liberia on October 14.
