Smuggled goods worth Tk 65 lakh seized

The goods recovered in a series of raids included 114 sets of colour TV, 70 sets of VCD, 6 pieces of Amplifier, 21 pieces of Speaker, 5 pieces of two-in-one, 41 pieces of Audio Deck, 327 tonnes of foreign salt, fishing net and some jhatka fish, says an ISPR press release yesterday.

The Navy personnel also arrested 12 smugglers and seized five mechanised boats used in smuggling.
