Shrimp farm owner shot dead in Satkhira

The victim was identified as Abu Bakar, 30, son of Abu Zafar of village Hariharnagar in the upazila.

Police said a gang of eight entered Bakar's shrimp enclosure (gher) at Kulpota at about 2:30 am and demanded Tk one lakh from him.

As Bakar refused to give in to their demand, the miscreants sprayed bullets on him. He died on the spot.

Abu Zafar, father of the victim, filed a case with Tala Police Station accusing ten people.
