Tk 8.50 lakh medicine seized at ZIA

Officials stopped Shahidul Alam who was crossing the green channel avoiding the scanner. Scanning his three luggage, they found the medicine.

Shahidul claimed he returned from London, but officials verified his documents and found that he arrived from Karachi via Dubai by EK-582 flight of Emirates Airlines.

The seized medicine include Gynocosid tablet, Primolut-N tablet, Kilogest tablet, Spiromide tablet, Prolution Depot ampoule, Tienam-500 ampoule and Sandimum Neral syrup.

Son of Jahangir Alam, Shahidul hails from village Thanahati of Raipur Upazila, Narsingdhi.

A departmental case has been lodged.
