Rupali Bank in Pabna looted

Witnesses and police said a gang of 30 armed men came to Auotapara Bazar in a truck at 1:30am. They held three night guards and 15 others of the area hostage at gunpoint.

The gang broke open the bank's grilled main gate and looted cash and prize bond by breaking the vault. They also took away one double barrel rifle and 19 rounds of ammunition with them.

The night guards of the bank were not present at the spot during the robbery.
