JS to sit twice a day to talk budget
The Jatiya Sangsad will sit twice a day from next Saturday to facilitate lawmakers to discuss the national budget for 2002-03 before its passage on June 30.
Following a meeting with his opposition counterpart, Chief Whip Khandakar Delwar Hossain told the House that morning session of the parliament would start at 11:00am while afternoon session at 4:00pm from the coming Saturday through Monday.
The question-answer part will be tabled as usual till the passage of the budget and from Saturday the parliament will not hear call attention notices by lawmakers.
