CNG plant opens in Ctg

Food Minister Abdullah Al No-man, State Minister for Petroleum and Mineral Resources AKM Mosha-rraf Hossain and Mayor of Chitta-gong City Corporation (CCC) ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury were present at the inauguration ceremony.

The plant is sprawled on a one 'bigha' area.

The ministers lauded the initiative of the CCC and the mayor in setting up such a plant. It was also said to be one of the best plants in the country.

"We need to ensure the best use of our own resources to build a self-reliant country," said Noman.

The plant will serve customers from 7:00am to 11:00pm everyday in two shifts.
