TV set buyers have to pay licence fee for 3years
Buyers of new television sets will have to pay licence fees for three years while purchasing the sets.
This has been proposed in the new budget to check evasion of annual licence fees by the users.
Licence fees on all types of radio have been withdrawn and the ministry concerned has been requested to take steps accordingly.
