Tk 32 lakh gold haul at Ctg airport

Customs sources claimed that the two persons were carrying 1223 pieces of gold chains weighing 4.6kg from Singapore in a Thai Airways flight, evading tax.

On a tip-off, customs officials held them at the Red Channel of the airport after Thai flight TG 309 arrived at 1:40pm.
