2 killed in engine, push trolley collision

The accident occurred on Muhuriganj bridge on the rail track between Chittagong and Feni. The railway employees are head trolley-man Md Ishaq, 55, and his assistant Md Mosharraf, 40.

The engine of Dhaka-bound Inter-city Subarna Express collided with a push-trolley heading for Feni from Chinky Aastana at Mirer Sarai, sources said.

The trolley did not get any signal as Muhuri station was closed, railway sources said.

The three other injured persons on the trolley were Senior Sub-assistant Engineer Yunus Khondoker, trolley men Ruhul Amin and Abdul Awal, who managed to jump outside.
