Father stabs one and half years old boy to death

The victim, Mohammad Arman was stabbed in the chest by his father, Sakil Miah while he was lying on bed at their residence at 8:00pm on Saturday.

The incident took place following a row with Sakil and his brother Habib. While the two were in an altercation at that time Parul, wife of Sakil went there to stop the two but Sakil got furious.

After the row Sakil went inside the house with a knife in a bid to stab his wife but could not find her there. Sakil saw his son lying on the bed and he stabbed Arman.

Family members rushed Arman to a local clinic and later shifted him to Brahamanbaria Sadar Hospital. He was finally shifted to DMCH yesterday morning as his condition deteriorated. The victim died at the DMCH at about 8:00am yesterday.

Victim's mother took away the body to their native village after postmortem at DMCH.
