College student found dead

The victim Devashish Roy, 17, son of Bimalendu Roy, hailed from Jainpur, Shibbari of South Surma thana and was a first-year student at the MC College here, family sources said.

Hostel authorities said they suspected that the victim died of heart attack but sources at the Osmani Medical College Hospital said the body bore marks of injury.

The body was handed over to his family after autopsy.

An unnatural death case has been filed with Sylhet Kotwali police station.
