Housewife chopped to death for dowry

The victim was identified as Shahida Begum, 20.

The victim's father Atabali, 50, younger sister Rashida Akhter, 14, and Saidur Rahman, a neighbour, were also injured during the attack.

The miscreant, Saidul Islam, is absconding. The neighbour was admitted to the Sirajgonj Hospital in critical condition.

A case was filed with the Bhuapur Police Station.
