After five long months of competition, finally the day is here, when the Spelling Bee Champion of Season 3 will be crowned. After Md Adeeb Ul Haque of Cantonment English School and College, Chittagong (Season 1 Champion) and Sunjack Jesun of St Joseph Higher Secondary School, Dhaka (Season 2 Champion) who will be the champion this year? With 32 episodes of The Daily Star Spelling Bee already aired, four out of six finalists of this season are Haseen Hasnain, Hurdco International School; Saif Rahman, Regent College; Naiyareen Mayeen, Sunbeams and Argho Roy, Anandaniketan, are the contestants to have crossed the hurdles so far. Argho from Anandaniketan is the only finalist from outside of Dhaka this season.

The Quarterfinals of education reality show “The Daily Star Spelling Bee -- powered by Horlicks' commences tonight. Popular anchor Rumana Malik Munmun is compering the show, to be aired on Channel i at 7:50pm.

The battle for the coveted Spelling Bee Champion title begins tonight. The show promises to be glamorous and intense. This year the audience doesn't merely sit back and watch the show but can also participate and win a tablet computer.

The first episode of Spelling Bee Season 3 will be aired on Channel i, tonight (April 30) at 7:50 pm. The show will feature the students of Khulna and Sylhet divisions and Maple Leaf International School, Dhaka.

The third season of The Daily Star Spelling Bee, hosted by champs21.com and powered by Horlicks, will start airing on Channel i from tomorrow, said organisers at a press conference in the capital yesterday.

For the past two months, The Daily Star Spelling Bee held Online Rounds and School Activation Rounds, followed by Divisional Rounds. A total of 96 top spellers were chosen from all seven divisions of the country and they proceeded to the TV Round. And what better way to prepare the contestants for the TV round than to hold a Grooming Session for them?
