Army officer found dead
An army officer was found dead at Shaheed Mahbub Senanibas (cantonment) in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur on Sunday night.
The dead is Lieutenant Tanjimul Haque, 21, son of Wahidul Haque of Mojakanda village under Nokla upazila of Sherpur district.
Police said Tanjimul was found lying in an abnormal state on his bed in Room No 26 of the officers' mess at around 8:00pm. He was rushed to Rangpur Combined Military Hospital (CMH) where the doctors declared him dead.
Later, the cantonment authorities filed an unnatural death (UD) case with Parbatipur Police Station.
