Two electrocuted in Khulna
Two people were electrocuted in separate incidents in the district yesterday and the day before.
Poltu Mallick, 33, son of Bimal Mallick of Rangpur village under Dumuria upazila was electrocuted at around 11:00am as he came in touch of a live electric wire at his home yesterday morning.
Ekramul Shaikh, 30, a day-labourer, was electrocuted while working at Shaheed Hadis Park in the city at around 2:30pm on Monday. He was admitted to Khulna General Hospital where he died at around 3:30pm.
