Boy drowns in river
A five-year-old boy drowned in River Sonai at village Dakkhin Bhadiali in Kalaroa upazila yesterday. Little Rahul was son of Abul Hasan of the village. Quoting locals police said, Rahul went to take a dip in the river with his mother. When his mother was bathing, the boy joined the other children in the river and at one stage went missing in the water. Locals later found the body floating in the river.
