Outlaw arrested
Police arrested an operative of outlawed Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP) Lal Pataka faction from Parshadanga village of Chatmohar upazila on Friday night. The arrestee is Md Rubel Hossain, 22, son of Altab Hossain of Daripara village of Faridpur upazila. Md Habibul Islam, officer in-charge of Chatmohar Police Station, said acting on a tip-off, they raided the village at about 8:00pm and arrested Rubel along with three machetes while he was holding a secret meeting there to commit crime.
