Director Piplu R Khan’s pandemic-era drama “Jaya Aar Sharmin” will premiere on Chorki at 12:01 am on September 25. She also mentioned that due to the sudden nature of the decision, her only sister-in-law was unable to attend the ceremony as she is currently abroad. She added, “However, in the future, we plan to organise a post-wedding reception with colleagues, relatives, and close friends. We hope for everyone’s prayers and good wishes for our new journey.”

Five Bangladeshi films have been submitted for consideration in the Best International Feature Film category at the 98th Academy Awards. The Bangladesh Oscar Committee will select one title to represent the country.
