Theaterian’s first production and 14th show of the famous play brought about the torturous despair of existence and set the stage on fire with eclectic performances throughout its 2:30-hour run-time at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy’s National Theatre Hall on Tuesday.

In honour of the celebrated actor, thespian, director, and cultural activist Aly Zaker's 79th birth anniversary, Nagorik Natya Sampradaya is going to organize an event, titled "Smritite Smarane Aly Zaker”, at the Bangladesh Mahila Samiti Auditorium on Friday.

“Peace Film Festival 2023” has been organised to encourage an integrated and peaceful Bangladesh with the participation of creative young filmmakers. This two-day-long festival will be held on October 28 and 29 at the Bangladesh Film Archive in the Agargaon area.

In an interview with the Daily Star, eminent cultural icon and convener of the Festival Committee, Ghulam Kuddus, mentioned, "Despite severe weather conditions, traffic congestion, and other issues, we received a positive response from the audience. Although our audience numbers were lower this year, those who attended thoroughly enjoyed the performances."

Afsana Mimi started her acting career with the theatre troupe Nagorik Natya Sampradaya. Now, after a long break, the 90s famous actress is returning to the theatre stage once more.

Leica Oskar Barnack Awards have been celebrated since the 1980s. The festive event features photographs from around the globe which also get exhibited on the first day exhibition of the programme.
