Man sued for killing wife

A man has been sued on charge of killing his wife in Pirganj upazila of the district. The victim is Mallika Begum, 40, daughter of Afsar Ali of Padmahar village. Afsar Ali filed the case with Pirganj Police Station on Sunday. According to the case statement, Moksed Ali, 60, strangled Mallika following an altercation over a trivial matter on June 26. Moksed went into hiding soon after the incident.
