2 abducted in Khagrachhari

Armed criminals abducted two people from Jouthokhamar area in Khagrachhari's Ramgarh upazila on Sunday.

The victims are Manjurul Alam, 35, and Raju Mia, 24,  of a private company named Feni Jewel Traders, said Mahbub Alam, marketing and sales manager of the company.

A gang of 6 to 7 armed criminals kidnapped the two at gunpoint Ramgarh upazila when they were going to Khagrachhari from Feni, Mahbub added.

Officer in Charge of Ramgarh Police Station Samsuzzaman said a team of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and police are jointly working to rescue the victims.
