Scientists also want time scale back

Scientists have expressed frustration as their demands are not reflected in the eighth national pay scale.

At an emergency meeting at Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission in the capital, they demanded restoration of time scale and selection grade in the new pay scale, says a press release.

They also demanded that people be recruited to the commission as scientific officers or to equivalent posts at entry level.
