Brac awards 10 journalists

Brac awarded 10 journalists at a ceremony in the capital yesterday for reporting on migration, says a press release.

Brac Executive Director Dr Muhammad Musa distributed the award at the event organised by Brac Migration Programme at Brac Centre.

Of the awardees, Belal Hossain Biplob of The Daily Star, Md Shariful Hasan of the Prothom Alo, and Md Abid Ajad Shuvo of the Dhaka Tribune received the award in national print media category. Aftab Hossian of the Mayabazar, Rangpur; Abu Bakar Siddiq of the daily Jalalabad, Sylhet; and Md Rabiul Islam of migrationnews.bd.com got in local level category.

In electronic media category, Salah Uddin Helali of Jamuna TV, Keramat Ullah Biplab of ATN Bangla and Jhumur Bari of 71 TV received the award.
