Punishment for Bahaddarhat flyover collapse demanded
Civic organisations of Chittagong at a human chain yesterday demanded punishment of the culprits responsible for the Bahaddarhat flyover collapse in the city.
They formed the human chain in front of Chittagong Press Club at about 10:00am, said a press release.
Blaming negligence of Chittagong Development Authority for the flyover collapse, they demanded resignation of CDA's chairman.
Terming the deaths as murder, they urged the authorities concerned to increase safety measures and cancel work orders of inefficient companies.
