Boy hacked to death
A teenage boy, who went missing on Sunday, was found dead at Navaran Jadabpur village in Sharsha upazila of the district on Wednesday night. The deceased was identified as Akash Hossain, 14, son of Ali Akbar of the village. On information, police recovered the body from a jute field behind Akij Biri Factory in Navaran and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy. Jhikargachha police said criminals abducted Akash on Sunday from Navaran Bazar, hacked him to death and dumped the body in the field.
