3 commit 'suicide'
A banker, a housewife and a schoolgirl allegedly committed suicide in Kushtia and Satkhira yesterday and the day before.
Abdul Wahab, 50, senior principal officier of Agrani Bank Limited, took his life by jumping under a shuttle train at Kushtia railway station on Sunday night, reports our correspondent.
Quoting victim's younger brother, Kazi Jalal Uddin, OC of Kushtia Model police station, said Wahab committed suicide following a family feud.
In Satkhira, Supriya Rani Sarkar, 10, a class five student of Hossainpur Government Primary School in Assasuni upazila killed herself by taking poison in her bed room at about 5:00am yesterday.
In another incident, Shila Khatun, 24, wife of Hasanuzzaman of Madra village in Kalaroa upazila, took poison at her house at about 7:00am due to a family feud.
