Kamal Hawlader mends his fishing nets on the sandy Subha Sondhya Beach in Barguna’s Taltoli area yesterday evening as the sun sets on the horizon. The 48-year-old goes to the sea every evening on his small dinghy, casting his nets till night. He makes about Tk 500-1,000 from selling his catch in the local markets the next morning.
