Youth crushed under train while taking selfie

A youth was crushed under a train in Dhaka today while trying to take a selfie.

The deceased was identified as Sadiqul Islam, 24, a microbus driver from Dhaka, Dhaka Railway Police Station Assistant Sub-Inspector Robiullah told The Daily Star.

Quoting locals, he said Robiul was trying to take a selfie on the rail tracks in Kuril and was hit by an approaching train around 5:30pm leaving him dead on the spot.
