Surjer Hashi Outdoor Pharmacy begins its journey

The first outlet of Surjer Hashi (Smiling Sun) Outdoor Pharmacy, under the USAID-DFID funded NGO Health Service Delivery Project (NHSDP), was inaugurated in Daulatpur of Khulna city on August 12.

Chief of USAID-DFID NHSDP Dr Halida Akhter and Ashfaq Rahman, managing director of Social Marketing Company, inaugurated the pharmacy.

The pharmacy belongs to the NGO PKS and is managed by the Smiling Sun clinic network which have been providing primary healthcare to the community in their government-allocated catchment areas with a special focus on serving the poor at a subsidised cost.
