Tale of two Begums
Much has been said about the "Two Begums of Bangladesh" in the national and international press. They both had their time under the sun but failed to shine. Their contribution over the past 15 years is lagatar hartal, looting the treasury, or promoting hooliganism. Bangladesh's development during this time is not because of them, but in spite of them. Under their leadership Bangladesh became the number one corrupt country for five years in a row. Yet, given a microphone they loudly proclaim all the wonderful things they have done for the country. We have seen what they can do for the country and we don't like what we have seen.
I urge the "Two Begums of Bangladesh" to please leave the country alone.
