Current politics

The question is whether we will lease our country to political parties like the AL and the BNP for doing politics. I agree with the views of the CPD analyst Dr. Bhattacharya on having a third political force for healthy competition.

AL leader Mr. Zillur Rahman was talking about their policy for development of future Bangladesh. But the harsh truth is that the nation couldn't get any economic, health, education, trade policy from their manifesto at all unlike the AL policy in 1967-68 under Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. We think the present AL or BNP has got no vision of changing the gear of economics and thereby poverty alleviation in the next decade. We need tigers, not foxes. So we need new parties with visions.

Although we are living abroad, we want to actively participate in the reconstruction of new Bangladesh with changed gears both from home and abroad.

We would request the media to give accurate information. Because there is a big gap here and nonproductive and religious political parties are taking advantage of people's ignorance.
