Extortionists at work
Recently, a family residing in Farmgate was receiving threatening calls over telephone by some unidentified criminals who were demanding a huge amount of money. Such things occur every day in the country but are not reported. The victims of this kind of intimidation are reluctant to lodge a complaint to the authorities due to fear of reprisal, especially if they belong to any minority community.
Therefore, we would request the present caretaker government to take a strong initiative to ensure security against such criminals who work secretly.
