Status of women

Not giving this full cognisance and restricting women in society from having proper education and share of their due status in workplace and home make the male children not so clever. The male children may have brawn but not much brain and society as a whole remains primitive as is exemplified by the Taliban recently as well as in many other patriarchal communities.

There is an old English proverb, which comes to mind: "If you educate a man, you educate a man. But if you educate a woman you educate a family".

In ancient times physical superiority in muscles and manpower decided the fate of nations, but no longer is it so.

This is the age of intelligence.
