President Yahya Khan passes an act allowing members to resign from own post prior to National or Provincial Assembly sessions. A statement reads, the act would be called ‘1971 Legal Assembly (amended) Order (President’s first order in 1971). By amending the 1970 Legal Assembly Act, LFO’s 11th clause would add the following: If a person elected to be member wants to resign prior to first session of assembly, s/he has to give self-written notice to the commissioner.
