- Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Maulana Abul A’la Maududi says everybody elected as people’s representatives should attend the assembly. He says not all party should propose their own governance policy draft. Only majority party should propose the draft and only those portions of the draft should be accepted which are consistent with the country’s Islamic character, solidarity, democratic practice, basic rights and just economic determinism. Others should be opposed severely.
- Maulana Mufti Mahmud, general secretary of Pakistan Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam calls for maintaining patience and endurance in national politics for the sake of country’s solidarity and unity. On People’s Party’s decision to join the National Assembly in Dhaka, he says political leaders should take the roles so that the interest of national unity elevates. He expresses hopes that Sheikh Mujib will adjust his 6-point.
