- Reacting to Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s remark that if the governance policy is formulated on the basis of 6-point demand he would start a movement against it, Noor-e-Alam Siddiqui, president of East Pakistan Chhatra League, Shahjahan Siraj, general secretary, ASM Abdur Rab, vice-president of DAKSU and general secretary Abdul Kuddus Makhon in a joint statement say, his comment is not only sad but also against the main principle of democracy during such critical time of the country. Last election was the people’s mandate to write the governance policy on the basis of 6-point.
