- Regarding formulation of governance policy based on 6 point Awami League chief Sheikh Mujibur Rahman restates that policy wise there should be no compromise from his party in terms of implementing the 6-point demand. He also states, Awami League is not only the major party in the national party but also to the whole state. He adds that Awami league can create the governance policy for the state on its own. But we expect support from every entity in this regard. If any party refuses to comply then the blame goes to that party only.

- Quoting Akashbani (India radio) Daily Pakistan writes, Indian government warned Pakistan High Commission saying, if they don’t compensate the blown off aircraft in Lahore and do not return the two hijackers, situation will worsen and for that or for any other chaos only Pakistan will be blamed. The letters also state, so far all the proofs that Indian government accumulated clearly shows that Pakistan is to be blamed for creating all the chaos against Indian government.

- A group of people barge in and rummage through furniture and important documents inside the Indian High Commissioner office in Islamabad. Police arrest some from the High Commission office. In the afternoon, female members of the high commission stage demonstration in front of their office.
