  • Sardar Shaukat Hayat Khan, chief of Punjab Council Muslim league, in Dhaka says Awami League as a majority political party has the power to write the governance policy of the country.  He says it is good to have consensus of all but it’s not mandatory.  

 

  • Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, chairman of Pakistan People’s Party, before leaving Dhaka after a 4-day visit, in a press briefing at the airport says, “We will try our best to reach an agreement and unity to achieve the goal to have a permanent administration system in the national state structure.”
  • Former central minister and eminent literary Abul Mansur Ahmed in a statement says Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bhutto should make the constitutional structure on the basis of equality in all the sectors of our national life.
  • Syed Nazrul Islam, joint general secretary of Awami League, at a rally in Narayanganj tells to West Pakistani leaders that if they believe in united Pakistan they should help Awami League for the policies of governance based on the 6-point demand.
