Rokeya Prachy returns to the silver screen with ‘Savitri’
Popular actress Rokeya Prachy is finally set to come back on the silver screen with the government funded project "Savitri". She had last appeared on a single episode tele-fiction and directed the tele-production "Juddho Ebong Birangona" about three years ago, taking a break after the releases.
The film is directed by Pranta Prasad. "It feels great to be back after such a long break," shares the artiste. "I will be seen as a lawyer in Savitri."
The story of this film is based on the trial of Liberation War criminals.
"Dukhai' marks the silver screen debut of Rokeya Prachy. She has appeared in numerous other projects, including the critically acclaimed productions "Matir Moina", "Doob (No Bed of Roses), and "Moner Manush".
She has also directed many tele-fictions, including "Rubina", "Amena", and "Phulkarir Golpo".
