Renowned actors Afzal Hossain and Asaduzzaman Noor shared the screen together in the drama, "Kul Nai Kinar Nai", which aired on BTV in the eighties. Although the talented actors have appeared together in many dramas over the years, "Kul Nai Kinar Nai" was the most popular among audiences.

On the birthday of the noted actor Asaduzzaman Noor, Afzal Hossain spoke to The Daily Star about some of the memories of his former co-star, which he still cherishes to date.

"We are people from the same industry. I was also involved with a theatre troupe like Noor bhai. We met on an occasion where I had gone to watch another theatre troupe perform. I was very impressed with his performance back then and have been ever since," said Afzal Hossain.

"During our theatre days, it was an exercise for us to get acquainted with the performance, set design, costuming, make-up, and direction of other theatre troupes. That's how many actors would get to know each other back then, through these exercises," he added.

Afzal Hossain also stated that they were lucky to have had the chance to become acquainted and understand each other through their art.

"We used to watch each other's performance on stage and give constructive criticism. I think, it's good for the industry, as it increases the love and respect for our work," shared Afzal.

The actor also said that he hopes to see Asaduzzaman Noor in even more dramas and films in the future.

"An actor of his caliber should have been in even more dramas and films. He is a great artiste in terms of natural acting," said Afzal.

Reminiscing their time on "Kul Nai Kinar Nai", Afzal Hossain said, "We have shared the screen together in many dramas. However, the most successful one was 'Kul Nai Kinar Nai'. In this drama, Subarna Mustofa, Noor Bhai, and me appeared together. After watching the first episode, I felt as if it was a full-length film."

"When we worked together, there was a level of comfort between us. We may not see each other regularly, but we live in the same city, and we are in the same industry. The industry that taught us to follow the path of beauty and art," concluded Afzal Hossain.
