‘Hawa’ in 48 cinema halls

On July 29, Mejbaur Rahman Sumon's "Hawa" was released in 24 cinema halls across the country. The film, which garnered a positive response from audiences, has been successfully running in theatres for two weeks now. For the upcoming third week, "Hawa" will be screened in 48 cinema halls.

Elated by this news, Chanchal Chowdhury, who played Chan Majhi in the film, shared his emotions with The Daily Star. "I am extremely happy that people have embraced the film as their own, this is one of the greatest achievements for us," he shared.

On the same note, Nazifa Tushi shared that she is amazed by the response from fans, and that she expects this trend to continue.

The song, "Shada Shada Kala Kala" was released before "Hawa" hit the theatres, and went viral across the country. Another song, "8ta Baje Deri Koris Na" was separately released nine days after the film hit theatres. This song has garnered much attention as well.

Apart from Chanchal Chowdhury and Nazifa Tushi, the film also features Sumon Anwar, Shohel Mondol, Nasir Uddin Khan and Sariful Razz.
